Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to enhance their collaboration in the fields of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital asset regulation, marking a significant step toward greater regional alignment in digital finance.

The agreement was reached during a virtual meeting between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain Bilal Bin Saqib and Kyrgyz investment official Farkhat Iminov, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.

Both sides emphasized the importance of building a structured roadmap to advance cooperation on crypto policy, regulatory frameworks, and technological exchange.

Pakistan has already laid the groundwork with the launch of the Pakistan Crypto Council and the formation of PVARA (Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority), showing serious intent to regulate and grow the crypto ecosystem.

Kyrgyzstan, known for its early adoption of crypto-friendly policies, was hailed as a key strategic partner in the region. The countries are expected to sign a memorandum of cooperation soon, focused on knowledge sharing and aligned development in digital assets and blockchain innovation.
