In a comment for The Caspian Post, Hyder Raza Khan, Chief Conservator of Forests in the Sindh province of Pakistan, shared his admiration for Azerbaijan and its people during his visit for COP29.
"I am very happy to visit Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani people are incredibly friendly, kind, and soft-spoken. Our bond has grown stronger over the years, and we have always stood by Azerbaijan, both during and after challenging periods," he stated.

Hyder Raza Khan emphasized the importance of COP29, calling it a monumental milestone for Azerbaijan and the world. "I believe COP29 is a monumental milestone for Azerbaijan, not just for the country itself but for the entire globe. I am sincerely thankful to the Azerbaijani people, their president, and all the citizens for giving me this opportunity to visit their beautiful country. I also want to extend my gratitude to The Caspian Post for allowing me to speak on behalf of Pakistan and to express my love and appreciation to the Azerbaijani people," he said.
Discussing opportunities for collaboration, Khan pointed out that Azerbaijan and Pakistan could work together on critical areas such as renewable energy. "When it comes to collaboration, I believe there are numerous areas where our countries can work together and share experiences. Azerbaijan, being a significant oil- and gas-producing country, has much to offer. Pakistan, on the other hand, is in need of low-carbon projects. With the support of the Azerbaijani government and its people, we can establish joint ventures focused on renewable energy projects. This collaboration will not only strengthen our ties but also contribute significantly to sustainable development," he noted.
