The conference was attended by senior representatives from Turkmenistan’s relevant ministries, FAO Deputy Director-General Viorel Gutu, and Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The primary goal of the meeting was to foster regional and global collaboration to ensure food security amid climate change.

Key discussions centered on the use of modern technologies in agriculture, the digitalization of the agricultural sector, and strategies for adapting to climate change. Special focus was given to the importance of international cooperation in addressing global food security challenges.

The event also featured sessions on enhancing food security, utilizing climate finance, and sharing best practices for sustainable agricultural development.

Turkmenistan, which was one of the first countries to adopt the Sustainable Development Goals at the national level, continues to play an active role in international efforts to address environmental and food security challenges.
