Turkmenistan, Jordan Hold Political Consultations to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

On November 27, the Foreign Ministries of Turkmenistan and Jordan held political consultations via a video link.

During the meeting, diplomats from both countries exchanged views on a range of issues concerning political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan said in a statement, The Caspian Post reports.

The discussions also covered key regional and international matters, emphasizing the importance of fostering inter-parliamentary ties and strengthening collaboration within prominent international organizations, particularly the United Nations.

The parties explored the creation of a joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation. They also discussed opportunities for enhancing partnerships between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business communities of Turkmenistan and Jordan.

In addition, the two sides considered ways to deepen cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, science, education, and healthcare.
