Georgia Highlights Cultural Heritage at Exhibition in Beijing

The Intangible Cultural Heritage Week in Beijing has concluded, with around 40 countries, 3,000 participants, and over 500,000 visitors in attendance.

Georgia participated in the international event with a dedicated national pavilion that emphasized the country’s traditional clothing, jewelry, textiles, wine vessels and examples of contemporary applied arts, The Caspian Post reports citing Georgia Today.

The ensemble ‘Didgori’ performed a concert of Georgian folk music, offering audiences a glimpse into the nation’s rich musical traditions.

As organizers stated, the event aimed to promote traditional arts and cultural exchange on a global platform.
