A Russian citizen who had arrived in Georgia just two days earlier was killed in Tbilisi.

The suspected attacker fled the scene and is now being sought by police, The Caspian Post reports, citing Georgian media.

The victim was a man under the age of 40.

Witnesses said a confrontation between the victim and the alleged attacker may have begun at a Spar store.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, and a criminal case has been opened.
