Uzbekistan, Georgia Explore Expanded Cooperation in Education and Youth Initiatives

During his official visit to Tbilisi, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has met with Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation in education and youth engagement.

Describing the meeting as constructive and substantive, Saidov noted that the two officials held a focused dialogue on expanding collaboration in education, fostering youth involvement in joint initiatives, promoting academic exchanges, and advancing bilateral scientific projects, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

A key topic of the discussion was enhancing institutional partnerships between universities and research institutions in Uzbekistan and Georgia. Both sides expressed strong interest in creating a lasting platform to support cooperation in science, education, and youth policy.

Saidov emphasized that investing in youth and education is crucial for building an innovative future and strengthening human capital, which in turn fosters greater mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Georgia.
