The announcement comes after Türkiye reported that NATO had intercepted a second Iranian ballistic missile that entered Turkish airspace, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

The incident, which occurred in southern Türkiye, marks the second Iranian missile interception in just one week, raising concerns about escalating tensions in the region.
