Iran’s Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini International Airports, along with key airports in the north, east, west, and south of the country, have officially resumed operations and are ready to provide both domestic and international flight services.

This reopening follows comprehensive coordination among aviation authorities and multiple meetings with industry stakeholders, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

The Civil Aviation Organization Coordination Committee gave its approval after conducting detailed security and safety assessments, taking into account the current national conditions.

According to the Public Relations Department of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, scheduled flights will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. (GMT+3:30) at all active airports nationwide, with the exception of Isfahan and Tabriz airports. These two airports are expected to recommence services as soon as their infrastructure is fully restored and any remaining restrictions are lifted, after which they will rejoin the country’s air transport network.
