An Iranian lawmaker has claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei, the new leader of Iran, survived two assassination attempts in recent days.
Mohammadreza Rezaei Kouchi, a parliament member representing Jahrom, stated that Mojtaba was present during an attack on the residence of the Supreme Leader alongside Ali Khamenei, but escaped what he described as a “murder attempt”, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.
Rezaei Kouchi also mentioned a second attack targeting a hospital where the “third leader of the Islamic Republic” was located. He added that the U.S. and Israel failed to achieve their objectives, though he did not disclose the hospital’s name or the exact location of the strike.
