President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Pakistan for a two-day state visit from August 2 to 3, 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, senior ministers, and other top officials, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.
During his visit, the Iranian President is scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
This will be President Pezeshkian’s first official visit to Pakistan since assuming office.
The visit comes in follow-up to Prime Minister Sharif’s recent trip to Iran on May 26, 2025, and is expected to further enhance the historic and brotherly ties between the two neighboring countries.
