Turkmenistan, Iran Discuss Collaboration in Energy, Gas Sectors

On December 16, Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi in Ashgabat to discuss bilateral cooperation, particularly in the energy and gas sectors.

The parties especially emphasized the importance of the visit of Abbas Aliabadi, who arrived in Ashgabat on the occasion of the opening of the 16th specialized exhibition Iran Agrofood, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.

The parties also exchanged views on promising areas for partnership development.

Let us remind that the products of more than 60 Iranian companies are presented at the Iran Agrofood exhibition in Ashgabat. The exhibition will also include a Turkmen-Iranian business forum.
