The Iranian outlet Defa Press has denied reports suggesting that Tehran agreed to remove enriched uranium from the country as part of negotiations with the United States.
According to the agency, the issue of transferring uranium abroad has been “completely and irreversibly” ruled out during diplomatic talks, citing information from senior Iranian officials, The Caspian Post reports.
“Despite enemy media claims that Iran has agreed to remove 400 kg of 60% enriched uranium, information received by Defa Press from high-ranking diplomatic sources in our country confirms that the removal of uranium from Iran has been definitively ruled out in the diplomatic process, and the enemy media's claims are pure lies,” the statement said.
