The conflict with Iran is turning into a multi-billion-dollar windfall for U.S. defense contractors.
The United States has already spent billions on arms for the war, driving record profits for major weapons manufacturers. Last week, shares of top U.S. defense firms surged: Northrop Grumman rose 5%, RTX jumped 4.5%, and Lockheed Martin gained 3%, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.
Following a White House meeting, the biggest U.S. defense companies agreed to quadruple production of what President Donald Trump calls “top-tier weaponry.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s defense industry is also seeing a surge in exports, fueled by advanced military technologies.
