AI Set to Replace One Million Specialists in Kazakhstan Within Five Years

Kazakh Vice Minister of AI and Digital Development Dmitriy Mun has revealed that up to 2.5 million specialists could be impacted by automation within five years, with 1 million jobs directly affected by AI technologies.

To prepare the workforce, Kazakhstan plans to train 1 million citizens in AI skills by 2029, supported by initiatives like Astana Hub’s free AI and digital tech courses, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

Meanwhile, the Senate has sent the country’s AI law back to parliament for further refinement, signaling ongoing efforts to balance innovation and regulation.
