On January 8, an Air Astana Airbus A321, operating flight КС915 from Almaty to Antalya, experienced a technical issue shortly after takeoff at 08:35 am local time.
A failure of the relief valve in the center fuel tank prompted the aircraft to land safely at Aktau Airport, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
The flight is expected to take off 9:20am on January 8 because of the need to deliver a spare part from Almaty.
The passengers of the delayed aircraft are provided with meals and accommodated in hotels.
An Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane canceled the Baku-Kazan-Baku flight scheduled for January 8, 2025. This decision was made due to the closure of airspace over Kazan as a result of the "Kovyor" plan.
