The draft military intelligence agreement will be presented at the session of the Armenian government by Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on March 6.
The significant potential and prospects for further development of relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan are based primarily on membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization, as well as bilateral cooperation between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.
Visits by the defense ministers of both nations demonstrate a mutual desire to elevate the existing relationship to a higher level.
Under this agreement, both parties will protect information obtained during their cooperation in accordance with the national legislation of their respective states. The agreement stipulates that any information received through cooperation shall not be used to the detriment of the party that provided it and may not be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of the providing party.
