In Astana, Kazakhstan, landmark buildings have been illuminated with warm orange lights to support the global “16 Days Against Violence” campaign.
Orange symbolizes warmth, hope, and solidarity, serving as a reminder of the importance of protecting human rights and maintaining zero tolerance for violence. Key sites across the capital now shine in orange, acting as visual symbols of support for those affected by violence, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
Kazakhstan has officially joined the UN campaign against violence, participating in international efforts to raise awareness and encourage action. Last December, the country marked 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, engaging communities across Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
