Earthquake Rattles Area 160 km Northeast of Kazakhstan's Almaty

Kazakhstan’s seismic monitoring network detected an earthquake on November 26 at 07:15 a.m. (GMT+5).

The epicenter was located about 160 kilometers northeast of Almaty. Authorities confirmed that no casualties or damage were reported following the tremor, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

The incident comes shortly after a magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck southwestern Japan, though no tsunami warning was issued.
