East Kazakhstan Valve Plant to Supply Equipment for CPC-K

Ust-Kamenogorsk Valve Plant and CPC-K have signed a cooperation agreement in Kazakhstan, aiming to boost local production of shut-off valves, pump units, and electric motors.

Signed in the presence of First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar, the deal will expand the use of domestic equipment at trunk oil pipeline facilities and strengthen ties between Kazakhstan’s largest valve manufacturer and a key oil transport operator, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Under the agreement, CPC-K will receive high-tech materials, locally produced spare parts, and equipment. Both sides will also collaborate on technical maintenance, modernization, testing, and innovative technological solutions.

The agreement comes as Kazakhstan revises oil export routes from the Kashagan field following drone attacks on Caspian Pipeline Consortium infrastructure.
