During their visit to the National Museum of Kazakhstan, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Finnish President Alexander Stubb were shown unique historical and cultural artifacts dating from the prehistoric era to the modern day.
The two leaders toured exhibitions dedicated to the ancient Turkic civilization, the art and technologies of the Great Steppe, and traditional Kazakh culture, where they viewed rare and valuable exhibits that highlight the nation’s deep historical heritage, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
President Alexander Stubb is on an official visit to Astana from October 28-29 at the invitation of President Tokayev. The Kazakh leader emphasized that the visit would give “a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations” between Kazakhstan and Finland.
As part of the visit, 15 bilateral documents were signed, and both leaders took part in the Kazakhstan-Finland Business Forum on October 28, aimed at expanding cooperation in trade, green energy, and technology.
