Kazakhstan’s Almaty Region Police Department has announced that a tragic accident occurred on a busy stretch of the Almaty-Bishkek highway, where a collision between two passenger vehicles claimed the lives of eight individuals.

Preliminary investigations reveal that a Lexus veered into the oncoming traffic lane and collided head-on with a Toyota Alphard, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

The crash resulted in eight fatalities, with two additional passengers sustaining injuries and being hospitalized.
