Kazakh President Arrives in Russia for State Visit

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Moscow for a two-day state visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At Vnukovo-2 Airport, Tokayev was welcomed with a ceremonial honor guard and military brass band, with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and other officials in attendance, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

The national anthems of Kazakhstan and Russia were performed as part of the official reception, marking the start of a visit focused on strengthening bilateral ties and strategic partnership. The state visit runs November 11-12, 2025.
