Kazakh President Arrives in Uzbekistan for High-Level State Visit

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Tashkent for a state visit at the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

President Tokayev was greeted with full honors at Vostochny Airport, where the Guard of Honor lined up to welcome the distinguished guest, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

President Mirziyoyev personally received his Kazakh counterpart upon arrival, underscoring the close partnership between the two neighboring states.

The visit’s program includes one-on-one talks between the two leaders, as well as their participation in a meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan - a key platform for advancing bilateral cooperation.

President Tokayev’s visit is expected to further strengthen strategic ties and open new opportunities for collaboration across trade, investment, and regional development.
