Competing in the men’s 45 kg weight category, Kuanyshbek defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Nurkerim Kumarbekov in a decisive final to claim the championship title, The Caspian Post reports per Kazakh media.

Kazakhstan’s medal count continued growing earlier in the tournament with strong performances from Nurdaulet Kumaruly and Nurali Askar, who each earned silver in the 48 kg and 55 kg categories, respectively. Shamil Dosbol also contributed to the team’s success by securing bronze in the 65 kg division.

This latest triumph highlights the strength of Kazakhstan’s youth wrestling program, following a strong showing at the 2025 U20 Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek, where the national team collected a total of 13 medals.
