Kazakhstan, Germany Extend Oil Supply Deal Through 2026

Kazakhstan and Germany have extended their oil supply agreement through 2026.

The decision follows a meeting between KMG Chairman Askhat Khassenov and Rosneft Deutschland GmbH CEO Johannes Bremer. Under the renewed pact, monthly shipments of Kazakh crude oil to Germany will increase from 100,000 to 130,000 tons, The Caspian Post reports via Turkish media.

KMG also noted that oil exports to Germany began in 2024 from its Kashagan B.V. resources and continued in 2025 with supplies from Tengizchevroil. Over the first three quarters of 2025, Kazakhstan sent about 1.5 million tons of crude to the Schwedt refinery in Germany.
