Kazakhstan’s Qazaq Air has announced the launch of direct regular flights between Astana and Samarkand, set to begin on November 7, 2025.
The new route aims to make travel between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan more convenient while strengthening tourism, business, and cultural ties between the two neighboring nations, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Flights will operate twice a week - on Fridays and Sundays.
According to the airline, the new connection will enhance air connectivity in Central Asia, open new opportunities for travelers, entrepreneurs, and students, and boost cooperation in tourism, trade, education, and culture.
