Murat Nurtleu Met With Sergey Lavrov in Cholpan-Ata

Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu held a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, which took place on the eve of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Cholpan-Ata, The Caspian Post reports.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-Russian cooperation in the political and economic spheres, transit and transport and energy spheres, as well as the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international organizations and regional integration associations.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current issues on the regional and international agenda and reviewed the schedule of bilateral events at the highest and high levels.
