Officials, business communities, and cultural figures across Türkiye have sent warm congratulations to Kazakhstan on the 35th anniversary of the Declaration on State Sovereignty, the historic document that paved the way for the country’s independence and modern development.
Mayor of Istanbul Davut Gül praised the strategic partnership and fraternal bonds between the two nations, while Turkish business leaders highlighted Kazakhstan’s rapid economic growth, reforms, and role as a key Eurasian trade hub, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Cultural and public figures emphasized shared history and values, lauding educational programs, cultural exchanges, and humanitarian cooperation that strengthen ties across the Turkic world.
The Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul thanked the Turkish side for their support, calling the anniversary “a symbol of unshakable friendship and mutual respect” and a step toward deeper strategic partnership.
Earlier, on October 22, a roundtable in Seoul also marked Kazakhstan’s Republic Day, underscoring the country’s growing international recognition.
