Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan to Hold Second Supreme Interstate Council Meeting in Tashkent

Tashkent will host the second session of the Supreme Interstate Council between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on November 15, part of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to Uzbekistan.

Upon arrival at Tashkent Humo International Airport, President Tokayev met with his Uzbek counterpart, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, where they discussed deepening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

Both leaders noted the increasing momentum of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and social spheres.

The upcoming session is expected to feature high-level talks, the launch of major joint cooperation projects, and the signing of an extensive package of bilateral agreements, signaling a new stage in Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan relations.
