Bahrain and Kyrgyzstan Hold Inaugural Political Consultations

The first round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was held remotely today.

The meeting was co-chaired by Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Temirbek Erkinov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.

The two sides underscored their commitment to strengthening ties and cooperation across various sectors, including political, economic, and cultural domains, to serve the shared interests of both countries and their peoples. They also discussed regional and international developments and exchanged views on topics of common interest.

Participants in the consultations included Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kyrgyz Republic, residing in Beijing; Ulukbek Maripov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh; and Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Chief of Asian and Pacific Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
