Bahrain Named a Priority Arab Partner for Kyrgyzstan – President Japarov

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov met with Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Consultative Council of the National Assembly, during his official visit to Bahrain on April 21.

The sides discussed issues of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain, and exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, The Caspian Post reports citing Akipress.

Sadyr Japarov said that Bahrain is one of the priority Arab countries for Kyrgyzstan.

"Our countries are united by common spiritual values. I am confident that today's meeting will give an impetus to the development of Kyrgyz-Bahraini inter-parliamentary relations," the head of state said and emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is striving to take relations and cooperation with Bahrain to a new level.

Chairman of the Consultative Council of the National Assembly of Bahrain Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh expressed interest in deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

"Bahrain is a recognized financial center, where significant international financial transactions are carried out. I am confident that if the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in attracting investments and implementing large-scale infrastructure projects, you will be able to find the necessary support and reliable partners here," said Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh.
