China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's (CPC) Central Committee, has arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic for an official visit.
Wang Yi’s visit includes meetings with Kyrgyzstan’s top leadership, high-level talks with Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the first session of the Strategic Dialogue - a new platform designed to boost cooperation across key sectors, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
Following the discussions, both sides are expected to sign a series of bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening political, economic, and security ties.
Wang Yi is currently on a broader Central Asia tour, with upcoming stops in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, signaling Beijing’s renewed focus on deeper regional partnerships.
