An earthquake was recorded in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city on August 8 at 9:58 a.m. (GMT+6).
According to preliminary data from the Kyrgyz Institute of Seismology, the magnitude at the epicenter reached 4.5, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Tremors were felt in several nearby locations, with intensities of up to 3 points on the MSK-64 scale in Osh, Nookat, and Kara-Suu.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
The epicenter was located in Uzbekistan, where the intensity reached 4.5 points, according to Google Alerts. Tremors were also detected in Uzbekistan’s border districts, including Khanabad (2-3 points) and Qurghonteppa (2 points).
