Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan from June 11 to 13 at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, marking a milestone in relations between the two countries.
The visit will include high-level talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities for cooperation across a wide range of sectors, The Caspian Post reports via AKIPress.
The sides are expected to discuss key issues on the Kyrgyz-Georgian agenda, including trade, economic cooperation, investment, and other areas of mutual interest. Particular attention will be given to expanding collaboration and deepening political dialogue between the two nations.
A package of bilateral agreements is expected to be signed following the negotiations, aimed at reinforcing the legal framework for cooperation and promoting practical joint initiatives.
The upcoming trip is being described as historic, as it will be the first official visit by the Georgian prime minister to Kyrgyzstan since diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.
