Kyrgyzstan is gearing up to host Indian Cinema Days, an exciting cultural event celebrating Indian film and dance.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy, the festival will run from November 21 to 24 at the Ala-Too cinema. It is being organized by the Embassy of India in the Kyrgyz Republic in partnership with the Department of Cinematography, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The official opening will take place at the Toktobolot Abdumomunov Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater, where audiences will be treated to vibrant Bollywood dance performances by the Kauhar folk dance ensemble and the Taberik children’s musical theater. The evening will conclude with a screening of the acclaimed Indian film Dangal.
The festival’s movie lineup includes:
• November 22 - The Unstolen Bride
• November 23 - English Vinglish
• November 24 - Life Can’t Be Boring
Indian Cinema Days promises a colorful blend of film, music, and dance, offering Kyrgyz audiences a lively taste of Indian culture.
