The international volunteer program Mission Dobro is running in Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek and Osh cities from November 9 to 20, focusing on support for children with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
Four Russian specialists-a child psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, behavioral analyst, and special education teacher-are providing training for doctors and teachers, assisting in rehabilitation centers, participating in roundtables, and offering both practical and methodological support, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
Trainings are held in collaboration with the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare, the Center for Child Rehabilitation and Family Support, Ayar Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, and the Osh Center for Rehabilitation of Children and Families.
The mission will wrap up on November 19 with a final roundtable at the Ministry of Health’s Center for Healthcare and Medical Technologies Development.
Active since 2021, Mission Dobro aims to foster international humanitarian cooperation and professional exchange. Over the years, volunteers have assisted more than 10,000 professionals and families across 20 countries. This marks the program’s seventh visit to Kyrgyzstan, following a mission in August 2025 that included surgeries and medical support in Bishkek.
