Kazakh airline Qazaq Air has announced the introduction of a new direct flight route linking Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital, with Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The Astana-Bishkek-Astana flights will begin operating on November 10, with services scheduled twice a week, every Monday and Thursday, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen transport links across Central Asia, championed by Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Qazaq Air emphasized that the new direct route will offer increased convenience for travelers and is expected to stimulate growth in business, tourism, and cultural ties between the two neighboring countries, further promoting regional integration.
