Kyrgyz President to Attend C5+1 Central Asia–US Summit in Washington

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov will participate in the upcoming Central Asia-US summit in the “C5+1” format.

The invitation from US President Donald Trump has been officially received and gratefully accepted. Preparations for Japarov’s official working visit to Washington are currently underway, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

The C5+1 summit, which brings together the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the United States, is scheduled for November 6 in Washington. Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev previously thanked Trump for the invitation, calling the initiative timely and important for deepening cooperation between the US and Central Asian countries.
