Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has met with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov to discuss strengthening cooperation across key areas including the economy, investment, and culture.

The meeting highlighted joint initiatives such as the Kambarata-1 Hydroelectric Power Station and the Kyrgyzstan-China-Uzbekistan railway project, reflecting deepening ties between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

President Japarov emphasized the historic brotherhood and shared values binding the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, while Saidov conveyed greetings from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to bilateral goals.
