Kyrgyzstan and India are moving to deepen bilateral ties following a high-level meeting in Delhi between senior diplomats and representatives of India’s business and cultural community.
Kyrgyzstan's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to India Askar Beshimov met with leaders of the Pythian Games initiative, including its founder Bijender Goel, as well as Gaurav Gupta, President of the Global Trade & Technology Council of India, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The talks focused on strengthening Kyrgyzstan-India cooperation, including within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). Special attention was given to the participation of Indian representatives in the World Delphic Games, scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan from March 24 to 27.
Participants discussed organizational and logistical issues related to the event, along with opportunities to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage on an international platform.
The meeting also highlighted plans for a visit by a delegation of Indian business leaders to Kyrgyzstan. The trip is expected to help establish new partnerships and advance joint projects in key sectors such as IT, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and green energy-areas seen as promising drivers of future cooperation between the two countries.
