On April 30, Alimaa Baasansuren, Head of the Department of Policy Planning at Mongolia's Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Protection, held an online meeting with Jyldyz Kuljanova, Head of the Department of Pension and Tariff Policy of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The sides exchanged experiences on the social security systems and pension policies of the two countries, The Caspian Post reports citing Akipress.
On the Mongolian side, information on the social insurance system of Mongolia was presented by Head of the Department of the Unified Accumulation Fund of the Ministry of Social Insurance and Accumulation Fund Khishigbayar Amarsaikhan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 130 Mongolian citizens live in Kyrgyzstan, and more than 60 Kyrgyz citizens live in Mongolia as of 2023.
