This year, Kyrgyzstan has expanded its diplomatic network by establishing ties with 13 new countries.
The move brings the total number of nations maintaining diplomatic relations with Kyrgyzstan to 185 UN member states, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
In 2025, Kyrgyzstan forged relations with Guinea-Bissau, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Belize, Somalia, Honduras, Eswatini, Gabon, Papua New Guinea, the Bahamas, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Sao Tome and Principe.
Officials said the new ties strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s international standing, broaden political dialogue, and boost cooperation with countries in Africa and other regions.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan was also named among the world’s Top 50 holiday destinations, highlighting its growing global recognition.
