Kyrgyzstan has established a labor migration quota for 2025, as part of the implementation of the country’s Law on External Labor Migration.
According to an order from the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 20, 2024, the quota determines the maximum number of foreign citizens and stateless individuals allowed to enter Kyrgyzstan for work, broken down by economic sectors and regions, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
For 2025, the quota for Bishkek is set at 12,850 individuals, while Osh will receive a quota of 845 people. The total national quota for labor migrants is set at 25,000 individuals.
