Kazakhstan’s National Data Center registered an earthquake in Kyrgyzstan at 12:58 (GMT+5).
The epicenter was pinpointed 237 kilometers southwest of Almaty, within Kyrgyzstan’s territory, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
The coordinates of the epicenter are 41.235° North latitude and 75.842° East longitude, with a depth of 20 kilometers.
This follows a previous seismic event whose epicenter was located in Tajikistan, recorded on July 12.
