As part of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov’s official visit to Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Culture Minister Mirbek Mambetaliev has met with his Tajik counterpart, Minister Matlubakhon Amonzoda, to explore avenues for deepening cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The Kyrgyz side proposed drafting and adopting a comprehensive roadmap to guide cultural collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan for the 2026-2028 period, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
During the talks, both ministers stressed the need to intensify exchanges between youth organizations, cultural institutions and creative groups of the two countries.
The meeting also focused on a range of joint cultural initiatives, including the organization of concerts, theater performances, art exhibitions, film screenings, and fashion shows-aimed at strengthening people-to-people ties and promoting mutual cultural understanding.
