Kyrgyzstan Opens New KG TEX Garment Factory in Chui Region

The Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced that a new garment factory, KG TEX LLC, was officially opened in Leninskoye village, Alamudun district of Kyrgyzstan’s Chui region.

The facility is expected to produce up to 1 million units of clothing annually and has created 300 new jobs, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The total investment in the project amounts to 170 million soms (1.945 million), financed through the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the company’s own resources.

Officials highlighted that the launch of the factory will enhance the region’s industrial potential, support the growth of the textile sector, stimulate job creation, and help advance strategic priorities aimed at boosting domestic production.
