During the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Islamabad, a series of agreements and memoranda were signed to strengthen partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
The deals cover a wide range of areas, including economy, energy, education, culture, agriculture, and the use of Pakistani seaports, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
President Japarov and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed a Joint Statement on Strengthening Comprehensive Cooperation, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to a strategic partnership.

Transfer of convicted persons
Cultural and tourism cooperation
Agricultural collaboration
Expansion of bilateral trade
Use of Pakistani ports for regional transit
Energy and legal cooperation
Mining and geoscience collaboration
Health cooperation on surgical instruments
Electronic data exchange between customs services
Sister-city agreement between Bishkek and Islamabad
Collaboration between diplomatic and educational institutions
Officials highlighted that the comprehensive package of agreements marks a new stage in Kyrgyzstan-Pakistan relations, opening doors for trade, investment, transport, science, and education.
