Kyrgyzstan Proposes Enhanced Cooperation on Critical Raw Materials at Central Asia-EU Summit

At the First Central Asia-European Union Summit in Samarkand, President Sadyr Zhaparov highlighted the development of critical raw materials as a key area for future cooperation.

The president stated that Kyrgyzstan has significant reserves of rare and valuable metals, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar.

"We propose stepping up cooperation in this area, formalizing it in the format of a separate partnership or road map, similar to what has already been done between the European Union and some of our neighbors (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan)," the head of state noted.
