Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the main topic of the talks was Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the Organization in 2025 and plans for the implementation of the planned initiatives, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
During the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan attaches particular importance to multifaceted cooperation within the OTS, as well as bilateral interaction with the Organization's member states.
"Kyrgyzstan will continue constructive interaction in order to further strengthen the role and prestige of the Organization of Turkic States during its chairmanship, the latter is a great responsibility and at the same time an opportunity to implement new initiatives," the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted.
Kubanychbek Omuraliev informed Adylbek Kasymaliev about the results of the Organization's work in 2024, and also provided information on the planned events during the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan. The parties exchanged views on the current agenda of the OTS and discussed plans for 2025, including holding events and meetings. Particular attention was paid to deepening ties between Turkic-speaking countries, expanding economic and cultural cooperation, as well as jointly addressing current challenges.
